Lietuvos matematikos rinkinys, Литовский математический сборник
This is an archive of the first twelve volumes (1961–1972) of the journal Lietuvos matematikos rinkinys (LMR), which was published in Russian. Later issues of this journal were translated into English as Mathematical Transactions of the Academy of Sciences of the Lithuanian SSR in 1973, as Lithuanian Mathematical Transactions in 1974, and as the Lithuanian Mathematical Journal from 1975 until 2008.
The translations were initially published by the Plenum Publishing Company, later by Kluwer Academic / Plenum Publishers. Since 2008 the Lithuanian Mathematical Journal is published only in English by Springer.
The journal LMR was established in 1961 by the efforts of J. Kubilius. The first three volumes were published by the State publisher of political and scientific literature, volumes 9–12 were published by the publishing company Mintis. The Editorial Board was rather small, consisting of 5–6 mathematicians: volumes 1–7 were edited by Petras Katilius (Editor-in-Chief), Vytautas Statulevičius, Vaclovas Bliznikas, Jonas Kubilius, and Jonas Matulionis. Starting with the 8th volume Evaldas Gečiauskas was incorporated to the Editorial Board and during the preparation of the 10th volume Jonas Matulionis was substituted by Vytautas Paulauskas.
The scope of the journal includes but is not limited to: probability theory; statistics; number theory; differential equations; logic; geometry and topology; algebra.

We are members of the The Initiative for Open Abstracts (I4OA) which is a collaboration between scholarly publishers, infrastructure organizations, librarians, researchers and other interested parties to advocate and promote the unrestricted availability of the abstracts of the world's scholarly publications, particularly journal articles and book chapters, in trusted repositories where they are open and machine-accessible.
The journal is a participant of Open Archives Initiative. The Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) is a low-barrier mechanism for repository interoperability.
