Focus and scope. The academic diamond open access journal Psichologija (Eng. Psychology) publishes high quality, peer-reviewed research in all major fields of psychology. Psichologija aims to promote the development of psychological science in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region, at both fundamental and applied research levels. To this aim, articles are encouraged by authors both inside and outside of the region.
Psichologija publishes empirical, theoretical, and methodological research papers, as well as research that takes an interdisciplinary approach.
Psichologija is the oldest and the only periodical scholarly journal in Lithuania and the Baltic region dedicated to all fields of psychology and interdisciplinary research. The journal Pedagogika ir psichologija (Eng. Pedagogy and Psychology) had been published by Vilnius University from 1962 until 1979, and in 1980 a separate journal Psichologija was established.
Publication frequency. Two volumes per year. Publications become available online as soon as they are finalised. Acceptance Rate 25%. Days to First Editorial Decision - 6. Days to Accept - 36.
Languages. The journal accepts articles in Lithuanian and English.
Charges. The journal does not charge article processing charges or submission charges.

We are member of the Initiative for Open Citations (i4OC) which is a multi-stakeholder project to make scholarly citation data openly available to enable the creation of new and better metrics.
We are members of the The Initiative for Open Abstracts (I4OA) which is a collaboration between scholarly publishers, infrastructure organizations, librarians, researchers and other interested parties to advocate and promote the unrestricted availability of the abstracts of the world's scholarly publications, particularly journal articles and book chapters, in trusted repositories where they are open and machine-accessible.
The journal is a participant of Open Archives Initiative. The Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) is a low-barrier mechanism for repository interoperability.
