Author Guidelines

The Editorial Board sets forth the following requirements for contributors of manuscripts.

Technical instructions for authors. Papers submitted to the journal must be typed in a journal’s offered template. The template can be found here [bus nuoroda]. While typing, please keep all references to sections, bibliography, equations, tables, and figures linked. We recommend using the Harvard Style.

Information about author. Contributors of texts (articles) should submit the following particulars in Lithuanian and English on the left of the first page: address, workplace, position, academic degree, telephone number, e-mail address, ORCID ID. 

The structure of an article. An article should consist of  parts: particulars of the author (1), the title (2), an abstract in English (3), keywords (4), the main body – the introduction, the subject of a research, the goal, the extent to which the problem has been explored, research methods, results (5), conclusions/discussion (6), bibliographic references (7).

Size. Up to 1 author’s sheet (40,000 printing characters). A summary cannot exceed 2,000 characters. 

Publication language. Articles are published in English and Lithuanian. A summary of an article in English is published in Lithuanian. 

Formating requirements. The basic font – Times New Roman (alternatively, Palemonas or Aistika), font size – 12 pt, line spacing – 1.5 pt.

Articles are peer-reviewed by 2 scientists (a member of the Editorial Board and an appointed researcher). More on peer-review in [peer-review]. 

Authors should observe high standards concerning Ethical policy for authors of the journal as set out by the Commission on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any cases of ethical misconduct are treated very seriously and will be dealt with by the COPE guidelines. For more information [Ethical policy for authors]

Authors need to register with the journal before submitting.
